I am getting the following panic error when attempting to install of of an OSX 10.0 cd with XPF 2.2b17: panic (cpu0): Unable to find driver for this platform: "AAPL, 8500". backtrace: 0x0008c2f4 0x0002a7a0 0x001f2204 0x001d4e4c 0x001d4c5c 0x001d56cc 0x001d5d6c 0x001c621c 0x00037430 0x00037364 I am running an 8500 with an XLR8 G3 300/200 card. I have removed all PCI cards except an Initio U2W card which runs the Seagate Baracuda 9GB LVD SCSI drive (partitioned into two 4.5GB units). |

Could you try version 2.2 (the latest, at this moment), and see whether that makes a difference? If not, we'll try to figure out what is going wrong. |

I tried your instructions several times without success. Either gives the exact same result, or a borken folder on startup. |

Boot into 9 and from XpostFacto reinstall extensions and BootX. Select your OS X drive and click restart. Britney |
