Has anyone gotten their machine to turn off their disks while it's sleeping? My machine only goes to sleep but the drives never turn off, even if I select "Sleep..." |

I have noticed as well that when the system tries to go to sleep (and dozes instead), I lose my ethernet connection. My suggestion is to set system sleep to "never"--but "disk sleep" and "monitor sleep" seem to work fine. I do want to figure out these sleep issues eventually. |

Thanks for the reply. I don't hear my drives spinning down but I was logged into my Mac via ssh from my PC and when the system dozed (similar message appeared in the system log) my session wedged and I was ultimately lost the ssh connection. So I guess the drives are "spinning" down? |
