Does Jaguar support Radeon 7000? |

I'm planning my install of Jaguar and was wondering if the 10.2 boot CD will work with the ATI Radeon 7000 under XPF 2.2? I've always had to swap out the Radeon for my older XClaim when installing 10.1, but since Apple has been supporting the Radeon since 10.1.5, I'm hoping to avoid the video card swap on this next round. The XClaim card is now tied up in another machine that I'll have to bring down if I need to use this card for the 10.2 install. Tony |

I replaced my old Voodoo3 card with the 7000 and can confirm it works in 10.2 with my PowerCenter. Pretty well, actually. I messed around some with enabling Quartz Extreme but didn't notice any difference in speed. One caveat for me is that I seem to be stuck at 1024x768 resultion withthis card (in OS 9 or X). It doesn't seem to recognize the monitor (one of the PowerComputing 17" screens). |

The Radeon 7000 works in my 8500 and I installed 10.2 with the Radeon in my system. However, I find that if I use the DVI connector with my VGA monitor, I get no picture. I do get a signal just no picture. The VGA connection works. |

I haven't tried the Radeon 7000 with Jaguar myself yet, but I've seen reports that it works. |
