Adobe After Effects 6 - Render 10 Frames - Time in seconds - Shorter bars are better This is the first time I have used this benchmark, and it is quite intensive. After Effects is a processor dependant program, that's for sure and this test gives quite a graphic example as to why you need a fast machine if you make your living with it. Adobe offers a 30 day trial download on their site if you want to give it a shot yourself. The demo file used is "nightflight" and I received it from Rob-ART Morgan of BareFeats.com.
