Time to open and close 1000 windows in the Finder - Shorter bars are faster. Tests performed using Let 1000 Windows Bloom In previous tests this showed the benfit of both a fast graphics card, and a fast processor. That still holds true, but in direct comparison to previous testing the totally redesigned Finder that Mac OS X 10.3 includes sure has benefitted us all - Some of these scores are substantially faster than what the tests under 10.2 showed. The new Finder is just great!!
