PC Requirements:
A PCIe 2.0 slot with four, eight, or 16 lanes (sometimes referred to as x4, x8, or x16) is required for maximum performance. Using a PCIe 1.0 slot with four lanes (x4) will reduce performance.

2009, 2010, 2012 Mac Pro (MacPro4,1 and MacPro5,1)
For these models, installing the Accelsior E2 into any available PCIe 2.0 x4 or x16 slot will deliver the full data rate, up to 785MB/s.

2008 Mac Pro (MacPro3,1)
This model has two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots which enable Accelsior E2 to deliver the full data rate, up to 785MB/s. Installing Accelsior E2 into either of the PCIe 1.0 x4 slots will result in Accelsior E2 being addressed as a PCIe 1.0 x1 card, with data rates limited to between 190-200MB/s.

2006, 2007 Mac Pro (MacPro1,1 and MacPro2,1)
These models utilize only PCIe 1.0 slots which cannot be configured (even with the Expansion Utility in OS X) to address the Accelsior E2 as anything but as a PCIe 1.0 x1 card. As a result, the Accelsior E2 performance will be limited to 190-200MB/s.
