It's the new track pad that gets so many insanely bad reviews--probably from folks who don't want to know how to customize it for seamless personal use. Love this; bought it as a backup

I already have a trackpad and need a backup, as occasionally one of our cats knocks my trackpad onto the floor; sometimes it survives and sometimes it is damaged enough to stop working.
