Rating: 5/5 High Quality Charger at an Excellent Price November 7, 2016 While there are a few of those little USB/cigarette lighter style chargers floating around the house, I wanted to get a charger I knew would work with all my Apple devices and more importantly, be able to charge high demand devices such as my iPad Mini. The cheap import chargers might charge my phone, but they won't handle the higher current required for an iPad. Add to this the concerns about a non-approved charger failing and possibly damaging my iPhone, it makes sense that the only charger I would use is an official Apple charger or one that is from an approved and reputable vendor.

I have purchased other Newertech items such as batteries and am well acquainted with their quality and value, so choosing this charger was a no-brainer. For that matter I got two, so I could toss out the cheap import charger the spouse was using in their car, too.

As expected, the charger easily handled my iPhone 6 and my iPad Mini without hesitation. Being an approved accessory, I don't have to worry about it no longer working with my Apple devices after the next update, either.

OWC knocks it out of the park again! A great product and an excellent value.
