Rating: 4/5 Sticks things down March 8, 2018 What can I say, grippy rubber disc that matches the bottom door for the Mac mini. Keeps the machine from sliding around, much better than slippery OEM door at staying put.

Just hope it will peel off cleanly if that is needed after it's been installed awhile. Guess I will find that out some time later.

Rating: 5/5 Works great with a USB SuperDrive April 3, 2017 I added an Apple USB SuperDrive to my 27" iMac so I could play DVDs. The SuperDrive sits on the base of the iMac, right below the screen for easy access.

But it took two hands to insert or remove a DVD, one to handle the DVD, and the other to keep the SuperDrive from sliding around on the iMac's metal base.

With a little trimming, the round NuPad Base covers the square bottom of the SuperDrive, completely eliminating the sliding problem. Although the SuperDrive feels like it's glued to the iMac's base, the drive can easily be disconnected and used on another Mac.

Rating: 5/5 Perfect Fit for Our 2011 and 2012 Mac Minis December 21, 2014 Saw these on sale at OWC and thought I'd give them a try. I was looking for a good solution to keep two of these little Macs from sliding around so much. I've tried bumpers, felt pads, mouse pads, gripper strips, you name it. Nothing ever worked as well as the NewerTech NuPad Base. And a surprise unexpected benefit is that with these in place it is actually EASIER to twist off the round base for RAM upgrades, etc. Great product and on sale, to boot! Thanks, OWC.

Rating: 5/5 Simple and useful (and low cost) December 15, 2014 I have my Mac mini sitting on top of an OWC miniStack. The top of the miniStack is flat and smooth, and the bottom of the Mac mini is flat and smooth. Whenever I reached for the back of the Mac mini to remove a cable or insert an SD card, the miniStack and Mac mini ALWAYS became mis-aligned.

The "NuPad Base" makes that annoyance go away. The textured rubber surface keeps the Mac mini and miniStack aligned, almost like they are glued together. It does noticeably increate the gap between the two, but it does not look bad. It actually makes the Mac mini look like it is levitating above the miniStack.

This is an enhancement that everyone with a recent Mac mini should have.

Be careful though as it does lift the Mac mini about 5mm higher up off the ground.
