I really needed
I have a MacBook Pro (13 inch, mid 2010), it was already very slow and said that the next time I would make that purchase, when I changed the apple factory hard drive for Neptune 6G and started using it, I was thrilled because my macbook pretty much got new.

I used this ssd drive for a custom fusion setup along with the owc usb 3 case on my late 2012 imc 27. I did nt want to remove the screen so I thought this may be the answer to speed up the iMac without the stress ,Honestly I can say this is great The terminal instructions are at techrepublic or google 'custom fusion drive' and can be used with either Sierra and El Capitan ..
