Instructions

The 4TB OWC Envoy Pro SX can reach temperatures of up to 57.2 degrees C during heavy operation. Placing the 4TB OWC Envoy Pro SX on a heat-resistant flat surface is recommended to avoid damage to the surface underneath. Please do not stack the 4TB OWC Envoy Pro SX on a Dock, Hub, or external drive enclosure.

Rest assured these temperatures are within a normal operation range and have no short or long-term effects on the device or drive. However, caution is highly recommended when physically handling the drive after heavy operation. Temperatures above 50 degrees C may feel too warm for handling. Please wait 10-15 minutes for the 4TB OWC Envoy Pro SX to cool down to appropriate handling temperatures.
