Please note that all ThunderBay 4 with Thunderbolt 3 units purchased prior to October 29, 2018, are incompatible with the SSD models shown below. This issue does not impact the ThunderBay 4 with Thunderbolt 2.
If you purchased the product between 10/29/18 and 06/29/20, compatibility for these specific SSDs will depend upon the original configuration of your ThunderBay. Use with other SSD models should not be impacted. If you made your purchase in this time window and have concerns about use of one of the SSD models below, please contact our support team for a compatibility check.
If you purchased the product from MacSales 06/30/20 or later, your device should work normally with all 2.5 inch SATA SSDs.
