Issue: OWC Docks ship with a thin film of protective plastic on its scratch-resistant cover. The plastic film is there to prevent cosmetic damage during packing and shipment. If left intact the film can become scratched after some use, giving the impression that the cover itself has been marred. There is also a protective plastic film on the bottom of the dock.
Solution: Please make sure you remove the plastic film on the top and bottom of the device before using it.
