I’ve recently had the opportunity to be an associate producer on a powerful film (on which OWC is a technology partner). The film is “Trees of Peace” and it’s competing in the Amercian Black Film Festival through November 28. I’d love for you to help us raise the exposure of this important work.
The Story
Set during the 1994 genocide of the Tutsi in Rwanda, the film is based on the true events of four women who hid for their lives in a 4×4 space beneath the floor. Per IMDb:
In April of 1994, four women from different backgrounds and beliefs are trapped and hiding during the Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Their fight for survival against all odds unites the women in an unbreakable sisterhood.

1) Go onto IMDb here to see the list of ABFF films. Where you see the little star beneath the title, click “rate this.” As of this writing, the film has a 9.2 which is great! Maybe we can get it even higher? (You do have to create a free account to vote. Sorry. :/ )
2) Vote here for TREES OF PEACE as your “fan favorite!” You can just select Trees for Peace in the survey and leave the other categories blank. Then hit “submit.”
