This is a spare hard drive sled from the Mac Pro 2006-2008 models. Having a spare tray allows you to easily swap drives* without the need for extra tools.

- Simple, inexpensive way to transfer large files between two Mac Pros
*This drive sled is compatible with all SATA drives up to 5.0TB. They are not compatible with 6.0TB drives due to a difference in the screw hole pattern on 6.0TB drives.
