Rating: 5/5 Unbeatable combination of price, condition, and specs February 5, 2024 tl:dr - 'mint' was an understatement Already own an 13" M1 MBP ('Pro' in name only) and really wasn't looking to upgrade as it does a terrific job. When I saw a 16" M1 Pro MBP (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD) in 'mint' condition for nearly $1,200 (50%) less than it was originally, I couldn't pass it up. I was a bit skeptical about the 'mint' description but when I checked the battery condition, it only had 6 charge cycles (wow) As for the laptop itself, it IS noticeably big (good) and HEAVY (groan). Like most YouTube reviewers, if you want power and portability, the 14" Pro MBP is the way to go. If you want the largest screen with a balance of better battery life, speakers, and processing power, the 16" M1 Pro MBP fits the bill, especially at this price

The Apple Silicon is far superior to any other. The new Macbook Pro Retina M1 is fantastic and will be my workhorse. My family also has Apple Macbook Air basic model and are super happy. We are also now buying Renewed Apple products which are just a year or 2 old and in Pristine condition, as good as new, and they work very well. Always use Apple. Rating: 5/5 So far so good :) January 10, 2024 So let's set the stage, in the middle of an editing job, I received a message from adobe stating they would no longer support graphics acceleration on my Macbook Pro. Within minutes, the adobe programs I was using slowed to the point of being useless. Thank you adobe overlords. Being in quite the professional pickle, I naturally reached out the the MacSales outfit. Found myself a solid Macbook Pro. Having the needed functionality and manufacture at a date, I shale hopefully have a few years of usage before our corporate overlords give me another taste of planned obsolescence. As usual, the computer worked flawlessly and was packaged so nicely the King of England would be overjoyed to open it himself, assuming he was not having his shoe laces ironed at the time. I prefer to make capital purchases on my own time, but when I do, the wonderful people at MacSales have never let me down! For the record I still have an old Macbook Pro from 2007 running snow leopard with adobe cs4 I purchased from these guys. It is screaming fast!!! The only problem is its bottlenecked by usb2 and batch processing large amounts of images or video is just too slow. Other than that, it works as good as the day I bought it.
