I have been a Window user from the beginning and decided to make the change. I’ve taken one free workshop from a neighboring Apple store and it looks like I’ll need a few more workshops before I feel comfortable. The instructor at the workshop as well as I was very surprised at how new my laptop looked, Until I’m able to determine that everything works the way it should I can’t comment at this time on its function - So far so good.
While investigating before my purchase I can’t express how pleased I was with the on line Chat service provided by MacSales. Several times I had questions for both the tech and customer service people and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and company procedures. Unfortunately another company lost out - I had questions for the seller after I got answers to my questions I went back to order the Macbook Pro and noticed a new seller was selling the laptop that I was interested in. I wasn’t about to submit questions to the new seller and found MacSales.com and couldn’t be happier.
The annoying part of my transaction – One would think since this is the computer age that once a transaction has taken place and the item delivered that the advertising would stop for the product just purchased, after all how many laptops do they believe I’m going to buy? Perhaps they could save advertising $$$ and pass the savings onto their customers; oh yeah, I’m dreaming….

I don't NEED to have the absolutely NEWEST Mac. Which also means I'm not forced to be afflicted with their newest operating system - which may or may not be an early version where early adopters do the OS' final debugging! (been there; done that!) ... and which may or may not also break some of my most crucial "older" often-costly apps. Thus, for many years now, I've been quite content to have models that are a few years old ... but still do EVERYTHING I need or want to do!
UNLESS you simply MUST have the newest Mac - I can't see ANY reason to pay PREMIUM prices when perfectly good - EXCELLENT! - [somewhat] "used" Macs are available from OWC at MUCH BETTER PRICES! (AND with reliable - although limited-time - warranty!).
