Standard Return for Replacement Policy

MACSALES.COM HAS SPECIFIC RETURN POLICIES THAT APPLY TO SPECIFIC PRODUCT TYPES. THE BELOW IS MACSALES.COM'S STANDARD RETURN POLICY FOR REPLACEMENT - PLEASE BE SURE TO CONSULT YOUR USER MANUAL AND THE APPROPRIATE SECTION OF THIS POLICY FOR TERMS PERTAINING TO YOUR PRODUCT.

MacSales.com recognizes that life's not perfect and that sometimes things need to be replaced. MacSales.com will be happy to offer replacements for defective products within a 30-day period. After 30 days, the manufacturer warranty applies.

MacSales.com acknowledges that our customers are busy people. That's why MacSales.com extends our customers a full 30 days from the original invoice date to contact us and obtain an RMA. By that same token, MacSales.com accepts product returns received within 40 days of the original invoice date with a valid RMA number and containing all original components. To ensure customer satisfaction, all internal hard drives carry an extended 90-day replacement policy.

Should you encounter an issue with your purchase, please review all relevant literature, visit the MacSales.com Customer Support Page https://eshop.macsales.com/Service/ for helpful videos and additional information on your purchase and, contact MacSales.com Customer Service. We will be more than happy to troubleshoot your issue in order to gain a successful resolution. If, upon initial opening of the package, the purchased product appears damaged or is otherwise believed to have a technical issue or defect, contact MacSales.com immediately. Upon MacSales.com's determination, we will issue you an RMA to resolve the issue you are encountering. To ensure the best possible service, the product needs to be verified by an MacSales.com Tech as defective or damaged in transit prior to a replacement being sent out. Such issues must be reported to MacSales.com within 48 business hours of receipt.

MacSales.com understands that sometimes our customers purchase something and find the product does not meet their needs. Should you need to return an item and wish to replace it with something else, please contact MacSales.com. You can do this by contacting MacSales.com Customer Service within 30 days of the original invoice date through any of the methods provided at http://www.macsales.com/Service/RMA_Request.cfm.

If you wish to receive your new item before returning the original item, you may place a new order with us online or through an MacSales.com Customer Representative and request a refund for the original order at that time. All international and/or SPO shipping charges, including Returns for Warranty or Returns for Refund, are the sole responsibility of the customer.

For any replacements, MacSales.com will always make all best efforts to replace any product found to be defective with the same product model. When a direct replacement for the exact model number or part number is not available, MacSales.com reserves the right to replace with an equivalent or higher graded item or model number. At MacSales.com's sole discretion, in the event that an acceptable product replacement cannot be found, a refund may be offered.

All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). You may obtain an RMA number by contacting MacSales.com Customer Service within 30 days of the original invoice date through any of the methods provided at http://www.macsales.com/Service/RMA_Request.cfm.

For Defective/DOA items (within 15 days of purchase) MacSales.com may offer to cover shipping back to MacSales.com for customers in the Continental US. Please contact our customer service for more information.

MacSales.com's goal is the make any return process simple, hassle-free, and speedy. To ensure that our customers receive such service, MacSales.com kindly asks that all items shipped back follow these RMA guidelines:

Standard Return for Refund Policy

MacSales.com recognizes that sometimes customers' wants and needs change and they may need to return a purchase. MacSales.com would be pleased to assist you with a return for refund of many of our products within 30 calendar days. Availability for refund is determined at MacSales.com's sole discretion.

(MacSales.com acknowledges that our customers are busy people. That's why MacSales.com extends our customers a full 30 days from the original invoice date to contact us and obtain an RMA. By that same token, MacSales.com will accept product returns received within 40 days from the original invoice date with a valid RMA number and containing all original components.   • Orders cancelled after processing (order has been placed, invoiced and/or shipped) AND unopened items are subject to a 5% restocking fee. Excludes custom, bulk and Modbook orders. Refused shipments are subject to return freight charges.
  • Opened items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All refunds processed will be based on the following:

  • Goods received complete WITHIN 15 days of the original invoice date will receive a refund minus all applicable restocking fees (as noted above) of the invoiced purchase price.
  • Goods received complete AFTER 15 days, but WITHIN 30 days of the original invoice date will receive the lesser of either the current selling price on the day the item is delivered to our warehouse or the price originally as invoiced.

Partial order returns on orders that were extended a shipping or other promotional discount will proportionally have such a discounts deducted from the refund.

All authorized refunds will be refunded via the method of payment originally billed. Please note that MacSales.com will process all refunds within 48 hours of receipt of returned goods. All refunds are subject to the financial institutions' processing timelines. MacSales.com is happy to answer any questions regarding our portion of the refund processing, but you may need to contact your financial institution for more details.

Freight is non-refundable. Customer is always responsible for safe return of goods and selecting proper return shipping insurance.

For Defective/DOA items (within 15 days of purchase) we may, at our option, cover shipping back to MacSales.com for customers in the Continental US.

Items returned incomplete and/or not in original condition may be subject to additional fees, or returned to the customer as non-refundable.

We are not able to offer refunds for displays, computers, clearance items, or opened/used media, consumables, or software. Restrictions apply to returns on special/custom orders and bulk orders. Please contact an MacSales.com Sales Representative for additional details.

Internal Hard Drives

For internal hard drives, MacSales.com is proud to offer an extended replacement window of 90 days. Once a return number has been issued and we receive the drive, you will be sent a brand new replacement drive, rather than a factory refurbished drive if you originally purchased a new drive.

Used Mac Systems, Factory Sealed Systems, Apple Displays, and Tablets

  • Restocking Fee: No, item must be returned with approved RMA, in its original condition and MacSales.com or manufacturer-sealed packaging.

You must request an RMA for Refund within 14 days of invoicing. Please note that the invoice date is the date the order leaves our warehouse, not the date the order is received by you.

Units that are received back at MacSales.com in the same condition sent originally and with all components within 21 days of invoicing will be refunded the original purchase price. Units received back after 21 days will be eligible only for warranty service as-eligible based on the specific unit's warranty and will not be accepted for refund.

Memory

All memory purchased is subject to MacSales.com Standard Return Policy and the original manufacturer's warranty

Items covered by this policy must be returned to MacSales.com within 30 days of the original ship date for refund for this policy to apply. "Return" constitutes receipt of the product by MacSales.com, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:
  • Any memory exhibiting physical damage
  • Modules that are missing the manufacturer label containing model number and part number
  • Modules that are missing the manufacturer warranty label
  • Modules that were shipped with a manufacturer-applied heat spreader, but have had the heat spreader removed
  • "Kit" Modules (which contain 2 or more memory modules packaged together) that are not returned as complete set
  • USB "thumb" drives that are returned without the cap or protective casing

Software

  • Return Retail Software for refund within: 30 days (must be unopened)
  • Return OEM Software for refund within: non-refundable
  • Return Defective (Retail or OEM) Software for replacement within: 30 days
  • Return Electronically Delivered Software for Refund: Non-Refundable

Due to licensing and copyright laws, we do not accept returns on software once a package has been opened either in the case of a physical copy or when the serial key for a digital download has been provided (whether used or not). Defective software will be exchanged for the same title only within 30 calendar days from date of invoice.

After 30 days, the product manufacturer warranty is the only warranty in effect. Terms and conditions may vary by title or manufacturer. Please contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for additional information on the product warranty.

Products must be returned to MacSales.com within 30 days of the original ship date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a refund. "Return" constitutes receipt of the product by MacSales.com, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

Mail-In Rebates

Any product offering a mail-in rebate is not returnable to MacSales.com once the rebate has been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace a defective item missing the UPC code. Please note return shipping is not included/provided by MacSales.com.

Combo Specials

Combo Specials include two items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Combo items may be returned for replacement within their applicable MacSales.com Return Policy Period. If a Combo item is returned for a refund, the Combo Discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (For example, if your combo discount was $5, and you return one of the combo items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.)

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order Items)

If MacSales.com no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock. You will be notified via email of two options:

  • MacSales.com can send you a comparable replacement item; OR
  • MacSales.com can issue you a refund at the current market value of the product. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued minus applicable restocking fees.

Quantity Purchases

While MacSales.com is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. Clearance/Bargain Items

Clearance/bargain items are indicated with a "(*)" in the beginning of their description line. Such items are provided on a first-come first-served basis.

Clearance items indicated by the "(*)" are subject to special sale terms. Sales of clearance items are final. Where an MacSales.com warranty is applicable and listed, items may be returned with an RMA to be repaired/replaced/refunded at MacSales.com's discretion during MacSales.com's warranty term. Items listed with a Manufacturer's warranty are subject to the Manufacturer's warranty fulfillment terms.

Clearance items listed are available for online/web purchases only, as orders are placed, the system live-updates to display only clearance items remaining available. Because clearance inventory is kept separate from our normal inventory, please allow an extra 1 to 3 days for the processing and shipping of an order, which includes clearance product(s). Bulk Items

Bulk Items cannot be returned to MacSales.com for refund or replacement service. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. The item will be returned to MacSales.com and you will be refunded the full amount, including applicable shipping costs and tax.

Plasma TVs and accessories like mounting brackets and speakers relating to them are not returnable to MacSales.com for any reason. Once purchased, all requests for replacement or repair need to go to the manufacturer directly.

The iPad must be returned Complete in original provided condition, and in MacSales.com iPad box with original MacSales.com provided contents and protective packaging. Any iPad returned incomplete, not confirming with the above will be subjected to 15% restocking and deductions for missing contents. After 30 days returns for refund are not accepted and replacement will be provided as per the 180 Day MacSales.com Warranty.
