Exactly what I wanted and needed

The USB connections sometimes don't function immediately correctly!

Good computer for hobbies

It's a good computer for general computing and running macOS (not the latest version unfortunately) and Linux distros. Fast and quiet. Good value. My plan is to have it be something like Network Attached Storage, either using macOS Disk Utility RAID or installing dedicated OpenMediaVault. Tested the Thunderbolt 2 port with another TB2-equipped Mac using Target Disk Mode and got Black Magic Disk Speed Test results of 200-400 MB/s, so TB2 appears to be a good storage connection option if I can find a compatible enclosure for a good price. Use the Mini exclusively for photo editing with a stand-alone version of Lightroom. Had older compatible OSX version installed with an SSD. Condition as-described, and all working well. Love my old but new-to-me computer. Works great!

The machine arrived well packed and was truly in excellent condition as advertised. In fact it looks brand new. It replaced an identical machine that I bought back in 2012 but that had unfortunately failed. After swapping in my old SSD the new machine picked up exactly where the dead machine left off and I didn't have to incur the expense of buying new and reconfiguring all over again. The Apple Silicon machines are great but the Intel i7 has plenty of power and keeping the old machine going is much cheaper. I would recommend this item to a friend! I wanted a machine that would still run Mojave (32-bit app needs) to replace my recently deceased 2012 i7 Mini. It had been my desktop for years, but was relegated to basement file-server duty when my Mac Studio arrived -- until it gave up the ghost. So a 2012 i5 from MacSales fit my replacement needs at a very reasonable cost. After a little time opening it up to swap in the drives from my i7, it was as if nothing had changed.
