I was having some issues with the laptop running too hot, but I solved that by replacing the old, funky thermal paste. Considering the laptop is 9 years old, replacing the thermal paste is the only "problem" I had with the computer. The laptop continues to be my daily workhorse. OWC delivered what they promised. When I order a new (older) mac, this will be my first stop.

        Rating: 4/5 Overall good, had some software issue at first but was fixed by OWC Tech Support June 3, 2023 I got it and the machine looks in great shape and almost brand new with no issues. However, I couldn't get the OS to install correctly and I tried everything but nothing worked. I called their tech support and got a great guy who fixed the issue for me in 30 minutes. I'm up and running down and the computer seems excellent! I would buy from them again and I got a great machine that once I got past some initial startup problems but it's great now. Also got this computer for like $100 cheaper than anywhere else.

Had originally ordered from BackMarket, but had very bad experience with the almost fraudulent service when their product failed in the first 60 days.
