With the advice of my tech support person, once I found the model I wanted (which took some time), acquiring my new iPad Mini 5 was super easy.
I did need help setting my iPad Mini up but I am not particularly technologically literate. The new iPad Mini has been working well. No problems.
Now I am trying to work out how to sell my old iPad mini. I think it may be too old! I would recommend this item to a friend! This review is from Apple iPad mini (5th Generation) 64GB USA/Global Wi-Fi + Cellular (Unlocked) - Space Gray.

Why down size my iPad

I have used the "standard" size iPad for three iterations. I have reached a point where I need to carry the iPad and some documents and workbooks for several different recurring activities. I use a messenger style bag to do so and decided to go with a mini this time to see how the reduced size and weight would be of benefit. I was concerned about the screen size but decided that the increased storage might offset that concern. I find the the mini fits in the messenger bag and leaves room for the paper documents to fit next to it allowing the bag to lay flatter. The bag has a less stuffed feeling. The screen size is not an issue since I am not using this device to watch movies. The books in my electronic library work well with the viewing options Apple has provided. I am able to work on edocuments on a larger iPad or MacBook Pro on my desk and air drop documents among the devices. I can then keep document work up to date and accessible easily on all devices. By saving the device to my iPad rather than just to cloud I can be sure that I can access the documents in all situations. I already had my messenger bag set up to support iPads and the transition to the mini for moving around my world was very simple. I expect to make extensive use of the mini consistent with my overall philosophy that if it is not broken it should be of use.
Price: When I finished the purchase with upgraded storage and a new protective case plus shipping charges my total cost was less than a brand new iPad mini without accessories. This was acceptable. I have purchased from this source before and will again. I have been satisfied with the service provided.
