MacSales.com was a fantastic place to do business. Straight-forward website ordering, easy pay options, and quick shipping.
This Mac is a bargain priced machine if you don't need great speed or the latest macOS. Don't forget to order the right DP2 to HDMI cable. The only minor downside — common to nearly all Apple products in recent years — is that you can't add an additional large-capacity hard drive to it. You're going with the 512GB SSD, paying $$$ for an upgraded SSD, or adding external storage. Other than the storage and OS issues, this 6-core 3.5 GHz Xeon, 64 GB RAM, and good but non-gaming video acceleration machine is a fantastic bargain for running slightly outdated macOS.

Fantastic value

This is the second 2013-era Mac Pro I've bought from MacSales. It's an almost identical specification to the first one I bought last year, except it has 3GB of GPU RAM as opposed to 2GB. The price was 35% LESS than the one I bought last year!
These machines are performing relatively light duty. The first one is primarily for music production. This latest one is a file server and television streamer. These machines are overkill for my applications. But the value! For the money, today nothing comes close to the computing power.
And when MacOS support is discontinued by Apple, I'll move to Linux Mint. It shouldn't be a problem to install and run Mint directly on the Mac hardware.
The attached photo was made while I was preparing the second machine for TV duty. It made for a wild-looking studio setup!
If you've ever wanted a "trash-can" Mac, this is a great time to get one. The Mac Sales staff provides an excellent buying experience, and they stand behind their sales. I had to return my Apple Mac Pro

My new Mac Pro after 5 minutes of work it freezes. I don´t know if it is overheating. Your support team (i.e., Steven) recommend to reformat and re-instal the MacOSX. It didn´t work so I am waiting to set up an RMA to return the computer. I hope my problem will be solved.

The Mac Pro arrived on time, no issues at all! There were a few scratches on the top, but they’re hardly noticeable once it’s on the desk. The only thing that could’ve made this better was the RAM. It came with two 8GB sticks instead of four 4GB sticks to use up all four slots, but that’s not really a big deal. I would recommend this item to a friend! Having moved from France to the USA, I initially found myself forced to buy a PC with Windows 11 Pro to continue my activities. I knew about OWC products in France, which I bought from time to time, but I didn't know that OWC sold used Macs. Given the multitude of problems encountered with Windows, I started looking for a used Mac, and that's how I came across Mac Sales. Not being fully proficient in English yet, I communicated with Mac Sales via email. I knew all the pros and cons of this Mac Pro, having been a Mac reseller for a period in France. The machine was delivered quickly, and Mac Sales did a fantastic job on it. I now have a reliable machine that meets my needs until I can upgrade to a more current Mac Pro. Given the outrageous prices Apple charges, I will certainly do business with Mac Sales again. As for the downsides of this machine, they are the same as those of Apple's Cube: you have to use everything externally since nothing can be integrated inside. The advantages are its power and small size, making it easily portable. Otherwise, OWC products are among the most interesting on the market, and sometimes quite inventive. My Mac Pro

Prior to purchase I asked my questions regarding my future mac pro regarding my displays and setup procedure with required cables. I asked if it had the ability to run three HDMI displays and was told yes, and i could achieve this from the thunderbolt ports, one display per thunderbolt bus. I asked other questions that where addressed. When ordering my mac pro I wanted a 2tb hard drive that was not available in the build section. I then called and spoke with a sales person and they helped me get a 2tb upgrade, they also upgraded there web site to include the 2tb option. When i received my mac pro it arrived with Catalina OS 10.15, after setting up with three Thunderbolt to HDMi cables that I purchased specifically for this computer, everything worked as it should. After long hours of data setup and transfer, there was one thing left, an upgrade to Monterey 12.7.3. After this upgrade I lost my third display, This caused several calls to OWC tech support. I also called Apple tech support and was told by everybody that my current configuration should work! Apple told me that I had a bad download to Monterey, I redid that upgrade, still didn't work. I went back to OWC, they told me to roll back to Catalina OS, I did that and it still didn't work like it did when it arrived. Nobody could help me get my third display back and running! In dispair i start a google search to no avail. I didn't give up, one night I found a kid on the other side of the world with a solution. I went out and bought an apple Dual link to DVI adaptor to HDMI and presto, the third display came back to life. Currently I am running a hodge podge set up. 1st display on the Apple Dual Link to DVI adaptor, 2nd display on Thunderbolt mini display port to HDMI. 3rd display on Thunderbolt mini display port to HDMI. Using the Dual Link DVI to HDMI adaptor used up my last USB port, this forced me to buy a powered USB hub 3.0 to run a Mercury Elite Pro Quad that contains extra drives and Time Machine. Never the less I am up and running with this set-up. Now I was facing the upgrade to Monterey again. Couldn't help myself, had to do it. Gladly it worked as it should. I just wish this information was available at time of purchase so I could have had time to source the proper adaptors and not go through so much grief and wasted money. If you want to use multiple svreens which I do, the MacPro is well suited. Using HDMI to Thynderbolt adapters allows me to use four screens.
