Rating: 5/5 Out of the box... working! August 14, 2019 So the 160 GB hard drive I had taken out my MacBook Pro 3,1 and placed into the OWC Express died. Little wonder I was looking for a replacement and how could I resist when this came up at an irresistible price. Delivered on time and properly packaged I took care in opening the OWC Express thinking I would break it. Once open, out popped the dead drive and in went the 1 TB SATA drive. I let the utilities do it's job formatting the drive and now sit with a big transfer medium. So far, so good!
