However, I soon ran into a frustrating issue: it couldn't accept any updates. At first, I thought it might just need a little time to catch up, but I quickly realized that it was stuck on an older version of macOS. I tried multiple troubleshooting methods, like resetting PRAM and SMC, but nothing seemed to work. When I attempted to update the operating system, I would receive error messages or the update process would simply hang. This was particularly disappointing because I hoped to enjoy the latest features and security enhancements that come with regular updates. It also limited my ability to run newer software, which was one of the reasons I wanted a Mac in the first place. In terms of performance, the Mac was decent for everyday tasks like web browsing and word processing, which is why I gave it a few stars. However, the inability to update made the experience feel outdated and left me wondering if I had made a wise investment. But I didn't purchase the MAC just to browse the web. I needed to put office suites on it. In conclusion, while the refurbished Mac had potential, the inability to accept updates was a significant downside. If you’re considering a refurb, I’d recommend thoroughly checking its compatibility with the latest macOS before purchasing, as it can impact your overall experience. The expense, time, and frustration are just not worth the headache. I had to pay for shipping it back, plus I was charged a restocking fee and I have to wait to get a refund on my purchase. Maybe it was just me but I didn't see anywhere on the site that denotes this machine can not take updates.

Rating: 5/5 Great price for a great Mac May 29, 2018 I bought the 2015 iMac because it was roughly half of the new price. It performs perfect and was a "brand-new" refurbished model. No scratches or dings anywhere. I intend to buy more just like this. We need about 5 or 6 at this point.

March 18, 2018 After a great deal of research, including other companies that sell used iMac computers, I elected to buy this iMac from OWC - MacSales.com. I had bought a memory upgrade in the past from here that I ended up not using and MacSales took it back with no questions so I felt comfortable that they would stand behind this sale too. When the iMac arrived it was just like getting a new one! It was packaged expertly, looked brand new and it absolutely screams. I literally could not find one issue with it. It has ran perfectly and is really fun to use. I have a new Windows 10 i7 machine I built up with three 32" monitors yet I find myself using the iMac more and more. It is every bit as fast as the new generation computer I built which has NVME SSD drives. The fusion drive appears to work very well and gives me similar performance. I am very happy with both the iMac and MacSales.com.

Apple makes it easy to move programs and information from the old one to a new computer. iMacs are easy to use and the new operating system is wonderful. Rating: 5/5 It doesn't get much better than this February 12, 2018 Simple review. I bought ONE of these and tried it out for a day and then bought TWO more the next day. They each arrived overnight (surprisingly well packed and faster than Apple by FAR) In my opinion these are Priced well and are awesome machines.I have not seen a refurb of this generation with a 2TB FUSION...quite nice. I am considering a 4th ...for home. These (remember I bought 3) look feel and perform like brand new and I was a bit shocked to find that they are eligible for Apple Care as well. I know I'm gushing but I am incredibly happy with these.
