Rating: 5/5 Did I get this used or new?!? March 15, 2018 I swear I purchased a used Mac, but you Almost couldn't tell from the looks of it. About the only noticeable issues were the stated camera not working (will likely fix at some point if $$ isn't too high) and the completely normal, minor scratches on the casing where the previous user wasn't careful placing it onto things.

Performance wise, I haven't done full tests, but after upgrading to an SSD (installed a 2Tb HDD into the optical), everything seems to be going snappy. It gets a bit hot under Windows, but I'm guessing that's OS related as all my Windows laptops would get hot as well. I'm guessing that this is why Apple chose the metal frame instead of more powerful fans. Because of the metal frame, however, this thing has some weight to it, but it's not unappreciated value wise.

This model does Not appear to have any of the flaws of its generation, so this is more Unicorn than machine really.
