This replacement LCD display panel is the exact model that Apple uses for the standard glossy display in the 17-inch MacBook Pro "Unibody" series of machines. It is not the screen used in the anitglare display models. While the two types of displays are physically interchangeable, the matte screen requires a display bezel for installation that is not found on the standard glossy screen models.

While OWC encourages the DIY philosophy, this is a difficult install that requires advanced skills.
