Thanks to its full-height MPX module allowing for additional power and PCIe bandwidth over traditional graphics cards, the Radeon Pro W6800X Duo features four Thunderbolt 3 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port. The W6800X Duo can support up to eight displays at 4K, four displays at 5K, or six Apple Pro Display XDRs.

Featuring AMD's Infinity Fabric Link

AMD's Infinity Fabric Link enables two Radeon Pro W6800X GPUs to be linked together in a single MPX module as the Radeon Pro W6800X Duo with the use of the pre-installed Infinity Fabric Link jumper. This onboard Infinity Fabric Link enables supported applications to transfer data and communicate between the two linked W6800X GPUs at nearly five times the speeds of PCI Express, while still leaving room for another MPX module to be installed into your Mac Pro (supports a max of two).

Better yet, you can use both of your Mac Pro's MPX bays to connect two Radeon Pro W6800X Duo GPUs together via an external Infinity Fabric Link bridge (available separately), enabling an elevated degree of workload distribution between 4 total GPUs to power through demanding professional workflows.
