This dongle replace the defective airport card or antenna in my MacBook Pro mid 2012 (Mojave). It work with a third party driver and is not directly recognized by the system. You will have a new item in the menu bar (upper right). The macOS wake up functionality is not well implemented, you have to unplug or replug the dongle. It replaces efficiently the internal card, with much better wifi data rate. The only drawback is that the driver is not stable. Sometimes you have a kernel panic when you wake up the MacBook Pro. Like a touch of Windows in your mac ...

Fast response, such a great item!

I was looking all over for a simple, and cheap AC adapter. I could not have choosen a better product! Downloaded software, pluggged in, and zoom! This thing took off on my AC router. Easy use, just turn off WiFi card, and turned on this adapter, and it is fast. Has an icon to turn on adapter which is so easy to identify and use. Great addition to my Macboom pro.
