USB Keyboard for Mac & iPhone
Mac / Bluetooth / USB 2.0
Type on both your Mac and your iPhone with the One Keyboard
Like Two Keyboards in One
Type on your iPhone.
Turbo charge your Texting, with the speed and comfort of a real keyboard. When you're at your desk, there's no faster way to type on your iPhone (or iPod touch, iPad, Android 3.0 phone, or tablet). The function keys control your iPhone's screen brightness, navigation, audio, and more.
Type on your Computer.
With one click, you can instantly switch back and forth between typing on your iPhone and your PC or Mac. It's like having two keyboards in one.
Built for comfort.
High-quality dome switches give the keyboard a responsive, tactile feel, with enough resistance to hold the weight of your hands. This reduces long term fatigue and makes it a lot more comfortable to use.
The keytops are also curved to fit the shape of your fingertips. This prevents you from sliding out of home row and losing your bearings.
™ € £ ¥ © are easy to find.
Extra handy (but hard to remember) symbols are printed right on the keys. Simply hold down the Option key for the bottom-right characters, or Shift-Option for top-right characters - they even work on the iPhone.
The function keys provide all the standard Mac media controls, including volume, screen brightness, iTunes track selection, and more.
Ergonomic fn key.
PgUp, PgDown, Home, and End are done by holding down the fn key and pressing the arrow keys — and we've designed it so that you can do this with just one hand...
Simply hold down fn with your thumb, and then press the arrow keys with your fingers. To make it even more comfortable, we've reversed the slope of the fn key to match the angle of your thumb.
USB 2.0 hub inside.
For connecting your mouse or a USB flash drive, nothing beats the convenience of an in-keyboard hub. It offers 2 extra ports at USB 2.0 speeds — up to 40x faster than regular USB.
Also connects to other devices
The keyboard is designed to connect wirelessly to your iPhone, but it's actually a standard Bluetooth connection, so it'll work with any device that supports Bluetooth keyboards. That includes... the iPod touch, iPad, Macs and PCs, Android 3.0+ smartphones and tablets, Samsung Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry PlayBook, and many more.
No batteries required
The keyboard cable to your computer also powers the wireless connection to your iPhone, so you'll never have to worry about batteries.

Matias One Keyboard for Apple Mac + Bluetooth
February 12, 2016
The keyboard worked once then quit. I was disappointed as the return time window was over. I gave it another chance. I discovered that it's very particular about what kind of USB port it needs: 2.0. I had been plugging it into the low 1.1 powered ports. I have had some trouble convincing the bluetooth to work, but if I'm patient, I can get it to connect. It's a bit light, plastic-wise. And big. But it serves as a back-up keyboard.

OK--but not my 2002 G4 Keyboard
October 29, 2015
The 2002-vintage Apple keyboard that came with my long-dead G4/400 desktop finally got too "stuck" to work so I pulled this out of its box and plugged it in. (I bought the Matias over a year ago for just this purpose--before I even bought my iPhone.)
It's an OK keyboard and I am getting used to it, but the "Page Down" and "Page Up" keys do not page up and down a whole screen in my email inbox any more, which is more than a minor annoyance.
I like the details printed on the keys for additional keystrokes, though...

Great keyboard for the price!
July 31, 2015
The bluetooth feature works great with iPhone/iPad. Well worth the investment. The only thing missing is a power-on button like the old Mac keyboards, but then even Apple doesn't give you one on the new keyboards. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Matias quality for a song
July 4, 2015
If you prefer to have a real keyboard with keys, Matias is tops. And this closeout model gives you a chance to get a really great keyboard for a throwaway generic keyboard price. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Quite handy!
December 22, 2014
I bought three of these keyboards. If you like old fashioned keyboards with keys that travel a bit, this keyboard has got a nice feel to it. The layout is mostly pretty normal, but there are some adjustments because the spot that normally would be occupied by the Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, etc. keys is used as a place to lay your smartphone. However, the new locations are relatively intuitive.
I only have two small issues with this keyboard: 1) the legs that prop up the back retract too easily, and 2) if you have more than one of these keyboards, it can be hard to figure out which one you want to connect to.
Other than that, I'm quite happy with these keyboards, and plan to buy another.

Excellent quality for the (lower) price
August 27, 2014
A USB wired keyboard that has Bluetooth. That seems like a contradiction, but it can be useful to the right user.
This is a nice keyboard, even without the extra Bluetooth feature. It has a good (high-quality) feel, which I prefer to the trend for "flat" keyboards that feel like laptop keyboards. It looks good. The keys "click" softly with a pleasant sound.
Here's a use that probably was not intended by its designers. I use it with my Mac that is connected to my HDTV in the living room. I have a regular power extension cord under the couch, to which I connected one of my spare Apple USB power adapters (from an iPhone). I connected this keyboard to that USB power adapter, to provide it with power for doing its Bluetooth thing. Instead of linking the keyboard to a mobile device, I linked it to the Mac, which is about eight feet away. A battery-powered Bluetooth keyboard I tried before was not reliable at that distance, but this Matias keyboard works nicely, perhaps because it is powered from an AC source. And I never been to replace batteries.
The keyboard has a small built-in "platform" to place an iPhone (or similar size device), between the main keys and the numeric keypad. I put my old iPhone there, running an app (Mobile Mouse Pro) that controls the Mac's onscreen cursor. It turns the iPhone's screen into a Magic Trackpad. Its location on the keyboard is perfect, as a little multi-touch trackpad.
NOTE: This platform on the keyboard only a place to put the device; there is no "docking" connection. It is made from rubber, and has an inward contour that is shaped for something with a curved casing (on the back side), like the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Other devices of similar size will "fit" there, but maybe not as precisely.

A quality keyboard at a great price
May 30, 2014
I had read reviews of the Matias keyboards in the past, but didn't see why I should pay all that money and replace my cheap keyboard. I was using a generic keyboard for my Mac. After seeing the sale on OWC, I purchased the One Keyboard. I must say, there is a difference! Not only are the keys like the "old school" keyboards, but the added feature of bluetooth switching allows me to use the same keyboard to type on my iPad. I now have my iPad, MBP, and external monitor on my desk, with one keyboard controlling it all. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Great Keyboard
May 25, 2014
This is one great keyboard. You can feel and hear the keys as they are depressed . This Keyboard also allows you to integrate your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with the Bluetooth capabilities of the Keyboard and then use the keyboard with that unit. Its by far the best Keyboard I have owned since the early 90's. I would recommend this item to a friend!

loud clacking keys hard to press
May 9, 2014
I work from home and texting has become a part of my routine with some clients. The idea of using a key board was great but the key pressure necessary and the volume of the clacking keys made this an undesirable option. The price was right, and if I was in a room all alone it may not be so annoying. The key board has pretty cheap plastic feel to it but I was continuing to use it until I couldn't get all the MAC key short cuts to work. As soon as I realized a few of the short cuts I use don't work I packed it up.
