Everything in this kit works. Everything you need is there ( except for the clean workspace. That you need to provide.) But the torex and pentex drivers aren’t labeled, and the darn tips are almost impossible to see to determine which is which. This is my ONLY criticism of this outstanding replacement kit.

Hopefully the battery quality is better than the included tools. When I was reassembling my MacBook Pro, the tip of the driver broke off in the screw. If I have to replace in the future, this will be a problem. Currently keeping my fingers crossed. Was hoping that this was going to be a better quality kit than the ones on Amazon. Leaving 4 stars since the battery seems to be preforming well.

The instructions and video were easy to understand. I had the video on my iPad, so I could pause it as I did each step. The video said it would take 2 hours to do the job and it took me 2 hours and 7 minutes. Everything works great and the battery now holds a charge for days. Way better than having Apple do it! The only negative was the adhesive for the new battery wasn't very sticky and it came unstuck the first time my laptop got hot. I had to reopen the case and peel off the adhesive they had preinstalled on the battery to use some Gorilla double sided tape, which has worked great. If i were to do it again, I would replace all the double sided adhesive before I started. I use my machine for heavy work, so your laptop may not get that hot and have this issue.
