Only one minor problem, though: the hole in the cover for the phone jack is *not quite* wide enough to take the body of the jack on my headphones, which is slightly larger-than average: to use my headphones (a rare occurrence, actually), I have to remove the cover entirely.

X-treme Protection for Your iPhone 5/5S.Port access is generally good, except for one thing (hence only 4/5 stars). The space around the Lightning connector is large enough to plug in the Apple Lightning/USB cable that comes with the phone, but not large enough to plug in some other Lightning cables and adapters. In particular, Apple's Lightning to USB 3 Camera adapter does not quite fit. I found I could just make it work by wedging it in from an angle, thereby forcing the case opening to spread a bit. But I feel like compatibility with all official Apple cables and adapters should have been considered in the design of the case. Just shaving a little material off the front and back of the opening would fix this without compromising fit and protection.
I also think NuGuard should offer more case color options. I went with black because blue has been out of stock for ages and all the other choices are a bit gaudy.

But the KX is clearly superior in every way to mine and I'm glad she likes it.
