Installation Guide

Step 1. Make sure there are no fans blowing in the room and let any dust settle from people movement for five minutes before starting the project.

Step 2. Begin preparing your screen surface using the included lint free wipe. Remove all fingerprints, dust, and oils.

Step 3. Make sure you have the included straight edge plastic tool to help apply the protector.

Step 4. Start applying the protective film at the home button end of the device and gently work from that bottom upwards making sure you have everything straight. DO NOT peel the protective film from the sheet it comes shipped on until it's near the edge of the surface of the glass. That keeps any contaminants from statically clinging to the screen protector. The protector will lay itself down and adhere to the screen easily.

Step 5. Work any bubbles from the center to the edge using the included straight edge tool.

Step 6. Take care not to create any fingerprints on the edge of the protective film by not touching that surface edge.

Step 7. If you have any dust under the screen, use the included blue sticky sheet to remove them. If you do have dust to remove, you should use a piece of tape to help lift the screen protector off of the device. Don't use your fingernails, as you can separate the multiple layers of screen protector accidentally.

November 11, 2016 Installing the screen onto the iPhone was quick and easy, they provide a micro finer towel as well as a alcohol pad to clean the screen beforehand. (Unfortunately I oversaw this in my haste to apply the protector but it made no difference, it still holds wonderfully). This is a relatively think screen made to protect from many damaging events, I have not teste it (and don't pan to) but there is no noticeable effect on touch capabilities. Remember after installation to remove the thin plastic sheet which is onto protecting the protective screen ;) I forgot and thought the screen was brooch after 2 days because this plastic cover startet to peel. Would highly recommend!

Rating: 5/5 Worked for me September 15, 2016 I dropped my iPhone 6 twice and a little crumble of broken glass was in one corner about 1.5 cm up the side but only along the edge. Then a week later, a star spread toward the Home button. A week after that one long crack went straight up to the top of the screen. I ordered the KX case and the Screen Armor. That was a month + ago and it's been stable since applying it.

The Screen Armor does make the screen easier to read because the usual grease from fingers does not stick to it the way it does to the the glass. Also, the annoying times when the iPhone won't recognize you are tapping it have stopped. The screen is more sensitive and accurate in tapping. Maybe it's just me.

I noticed if I am standing in the morning with the bright sun on me and the iPhone screen facing me, it becomes a bit of a mirror due to the bright light reflecting off me. Just walk over to a shadow.

The size is slightly smaller than the screen so it does not interfere with an outside case. The previous one lasted two years on my old iPhone till I turned it in. Rating: 5/5 Nice product July 11, 2015 Purchased the KX case and after " breaking" it in by bending the case and loosening the on/ off button protector decided to purchase the screen cover. The cover is tricky to install so be patient. The iPhone screen must be totally clean or you will be re-cleaning and re-attaching. One trick that worked was using scotch tape to pick up pesky dust specks. Makes sure you are working on a dust free surface. The long and short of it is once you have it on you do not know it is there. The key is to clean the screen,then clean it again. Working small bubbles out is easy. I would re-purchase this product,same with the case.
