Rating: 5/5 Really boosted my Mac's performance August 15, 2015 More RAM = a faster, quieter, more capable Mac. The OWC packaging was good protection but easy to open. Mac OS will use as much memory as you give it, and I like to have about ten applications open at once as I move between documents and tasks throughout my work day. Suddenly my Mac almost never needs to use virtual memory, so it runs quieter and cooler as well as faster, switching effortlessly between windows and apps. So glad I bought this!
