The kit allowed me to successfully upgrade the RAM (and SSD) of a 2017 iMac. The only issue I encountered was that the supplied Phillips screwdriver (PH00) was too large to remove the 5 tiny screws at the bottom of the iMac. Fortunately I have a tool kit with the properly sized bit (PH000). Otherwise everything went smoothly.

I upgraded my 2017 iMac memory and added the SSD with 2 kits. I have done some DIY projects on an e-bike but never tried anything like this on a computer. I followed the video carefully and all went smoothly. It was so exciting to see the huge performance improvement! The Mac was frustrating, slow, and laggy before, but now it is a whole new responsive experience. This was a fun project and challenge for me - thanks OWC!
