I have installed the 8gb RAM accompanying the 2gb RAM that I already have in my laptop. Let's just say my Macbook Pro is able to do more than it did previously. Using Spotify, scrolling through Facebook, and typing essays without worrying too much about the beach-ball indication is a content feeling. This is a good product, and I highly recommend it! Great ram but shame about customs charges

I was charged an additional £17/$30 by the Post Office in the UK in addition to the cost of the memory and international shipping charges which made it very expensive. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Ordered 2 x 8Gb 1066MHz memory modules and everything went smoothly. USPS instead was a bummer. On delivery day they just said, "undeliverable, returning to sender" in their tracking system. Must have been a lazy mail man or what not, since OWC labeled everything just fine on the delivery, and my mailbox was also perfectly labeled. Probably a local problem, or I was just unlucky. Anyway, great job OWC, enjoying my maxed out mac book pro right now! Thanks! I would recommend this item to a friend!

I changed the 2 old 2GB RAM memories in my macbook pro 13" mid 2010 with this 8GB and also replaced the old 512GB hard drive for a WD 1TB hybrid hard disc and the startup process pased from a 2:48 to 52 seconds. What else can I say? This change destroyed my expectations, I´m pretty happy

I bought 1 - 8 GB ram upgrade and it works great! It runs at a different speed than the OEM Mac 1 GB I had in there. Just make sure to take both 1GB pieces out because your faster 8 GB ram will actually run at the lower speed of the 1 GB if you have the 8GB and the 1 GB in there at once.

It was glad to find a site that explained thoroughly memory compatibilities, even when the official site at www.apple.com was confuse and hard to find. I was able to manually upgrade memory by myself and it has been working correctly since I did. I would buy here again even if it takes longer as I don't live in the States.
