    Not for the faint hearted or shaking hands !

    I made the 1GB SSD upgrade to my aging iMac 27" Mid 2010. Before starting you definitely need a prong tool to handle the small screws, especially that they are located near he front screen magnets. The installation video is quite accurate. You should also make sure not to lose any cable end to the inside of the mac. I lost one end of the wifi board behind one of the boards, and did not realize that until I had it all assembled. I had to take it down a second time to look for the wifi cable and plug it correctly. The display connector is fragile and needs to be handled and inserted with special care. This process is not an easy ride, and it is as difficult as mentioned on the OWC website. Besides all that, it is a great upgrade.
