The USB 3.2 (10Gb/s) interface offers speedy transfer rates, and the Envoy Pro 1A requires no AC power adapter, making Envoy Pro 1A the ideal plug-and-play enclosure for repurposing your factory Apple SSD after an internal storage upgrade, or for housing a high-performance OWC Aura Pro X2, Aura Pro X, Aura N2, or Aura N SSD.
Simple Connectivity, No External Power Required
The OWC Envoy Pro 1A includes a high-quality double-shielded USB Micro-B to USB-A cable. Easily connect – and power – the Envoy Pro 1A via an available USB-A port on your computer or dock. Add a USB-A to USB-C adapter (available separately) and expand your connectivity options to include USB-C and Thunderbolt (USB-C) computers, mobile devices, and more. The USB port will fully power the Envoy Pro 1A – no external power adapter is required!

- When using Envoy Pro 1A with drives that have a heatsink, the top cover of the Envoy Pro 1A should not be installed (should remain off). However, OWC does not recommend prolonged use without the cover. OWC does not recommend removing the heat sink – doing so may void the warranty for the installed drive. Please review the drive warranty before installation in an Envoy Pro 1A enclosure.
