Rating: 4/5 8X OWC dvd drive June 26, 2016 It works well for me. I replaced my optical drive from my macebookrpo and added a 2nd HD. However, I still needed an optical drive for those times when one is needed. So, this does the job though realize this is only for playback, not burning/recording.
