    revived my ancient macbook pro!

had an old macbook pro from way back in 2010, big chunky beast that got water-damaged in the rain the one time. i moved on since i needed a work machine at the time, but i kept it stowed in my cabinet for what would seem like years. now that i've tested OWC for their products during my repairing sessions with office machines, i took the plunge and bought this hoping i could bring my laptop back from the dead, and it did! my only issue is that it's really slim, so it doesn't fit snugly inside the macbook, but this was easily solved by getting some styrofoam and squeezing it between the drive and the body's frame. thanks owc!

It's great to hear that you were able to revive your old MacBook Pro and bring it back to life! We understand how valuable it can be to revive a machine that has been out of commission for so long. We appreciate your feedback regarding the fit of the product. While we strive to create high-quality solutions, occasionally the fit may not be as snug as expected. It’s wonderful that you found a workaround for that. Your insights are valuable to us and can help improve our offerings. If there’s anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. If there is anything else we can do to raise your rating to 5 stars, please let me know.
