The Mercury Accelsior E2 is the cost-effective upgrade solution for owners of the original Accelsior PCIe SSD. It offers all the performance benefits of the original Accelsior and adds two 6Gb/s eSATA expansion ports for transferring data at speeds up to 600MB/s.

    Got this to make an old Mac Pro feel fast, and it does. I'm still using that 2009 Mac Pro and, other than the fact that I can no longer upgrade past El Capitan, I do not have a compelling reason to move to the next Mac Pro, just yet.
