These little screwdriver tools have a magnetized ends that hold tiny screws well. As it can be easy to lose tiny screws it is helpful that these tools help to avoid losing the screws.

I originally ordered a tool kit to install an SSD in my 2014 Mac mini. When I received the kit it had all the tools as advertised, but did not have one tool needed for my install. Based on the recommendation of OWC support, I had to order another complete toolkit that contained the one more tool I needed, and several that were duplicates of the first kit I purchased. The second tool kit was not indicated or recommended for my 2014 Mac mini in any of the applications listing. I was disappointed and irritated with OWC for having inaccurate application data in their specifications. OWC did not offer any compensation or reimbursement to me. I have been an OWC customer for more than 25 years, have always had good service and quality components. While the money involved is negligible, the inconvenience of inaccurate information and waiting 2 weeks for all the correct tools to arrive to get my computer functioning is disappointing and concerning to me. I hope their applications list are corrected. OWC will still be on my list of resources and suppliers, just not at the top of my list.

We do see that you called in and the the tools were never discussed during your phone conversation. now for the new tools you purchased we do see that it does fail to say that they would be compatible with the 2014 Mac Mini and we have submitted a fix for our web team to add it to the website.
