Toshiba's MD06ACA-V series of surveillance HDDs deliver up to 10 TB of storage capacity and support for up to 64 high definition cameras. The MD06ACA-V is designed for demanding 24/7 surveillance environments with industry-standard 3.5-inch form factor. Robust and reliable, the MD036CA-V HDD is intended for demanding surveillance environments such as network video recorders (sNVR), surveillance digital video recorders (sDVR) and hybrid sDVRs, delivering 24x7 operation with MTTF (mean time to failure) of 1 million hours.
Reliable in RAID
For great reliability and scalability in RAID environments, the MD06ACA-V HDDs uses RV sensors to compensate for the effects of vibration from adjacent drives or cooling fans. With a range of available large capacities and great performance Toshiba's MD06ACA-V series HDDs are a great match for high resolution camera feeds and longer retention periods for surveillance data sets.
- This HDD utilizes a new standardized mounting screw pattern that is not compatible with older Mac Pro models. In a Mac Pro tower, the drive can be installed in an empty optical drive bay using an OWC Hard Drive Tray for 2009/10/12 Mac Pro, an OWC Multi-Mount Bracket for 2009/10/12 Mac Pro, or an OWC Multi-Mount Bracket for 2006/07/08 Mac Pro.
