The Toshiba MG03ACA series HDDs are designed to support enterprise applications where reliability, high capacity, and performance are required. The series is ideally suited for data archives and digital records storage, entry and business critical server and storage systems, disk backup systems including remote sites for data protection and business continuity, and tiered virtual infrastructure for public and private cloud deployments (IaaS and PaaS). Intended for 24 x 7 operation, the MG03ACA also includes features that are critical to business operations such as enhanced Error Correction Code (ECC), Anti Rotational Vibration (RV) technology for multi-drive systems, and enhanced power condition state technology.

    product is great, but service is the 5 star thing here

    I screwed up and ordered these (wonderful, enterprise class, highly rated) drives...not realizing they aren't SATA and therefore won't work with the dock I'm using. returning them has been super easy. I didn't expect a problem, but honestly returns are a hassle, and this was better than I expected.

    So far, so good!

    I've had my two 2.0TB Toshiba's for a little over a month and I'm very pleased. They were easy to install, like all drives going into my mid-2010 Mac Pro. I had a Time Machine backup ready so moving the data from my old drives was simple, if not quick (72 hrs to move 1TB!). But when I came downstairs the third day, everything was ready to go. I then upgraded to OS Mojave and that went well too, since I had upgraded the GPU before I did anything else. Finally, at the price, it was a great investment. I now have 4TB of internal storage for under $200.
