As the space shuttle ended it's final chapter in American history after over 30 years, Dennis Biela of Lightspeed Media gathered together a group of photographers and videographers to form what is known as The Last Shuttle Project, to document the last days for the program and shows us what may lie ahead.

Many of us are unaware of the advancements that the Shuttle program has contributed to not only space exploration, but to science, medicine, and business. The Last Shuttle Project hopes to bring a wider understanding of what the program entailed, sharing all of the details up close and personal in a way that has never before been done, to be preserved for future generations.

With team members located across the country and filming under the most challenging conditions, the necessity for reliable storage to capture this one-of-a-kind content was of the highest importance. OWC was proud to support The Last Shuttle Project, and went on to become the official storage provider for their work.
