Graphics-intensive operating systems and applications rely heavily on the GPU to run at their best and thus let you perform at your best too. Unfortunately, integrated graphics (combo CPU/GPU chip) and just adequate GPUs are permanently installed (translation: can’t be upgraded) in notebook, small form factor, and all-in-one design computers.

Explore a Different Reality

The Node Titan is a Plug and Play external graphics processing unit (eGPU) that will supercharge your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac or PC. You’ll marvel at how much smoother and responsive your computer operates. It feels like your favorite thrill park ride when you’re working easier and faster with Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, 3D/VR, and video/audio processing apps. Giving yourself editing, workflow, and gaming capabilities simply not possible with factory installed graphics processing is now just a single cable connection away with the Node Titan.

See the Bigger (and Better) Picture

Depending upon the GPU card you install into the Node Titan, you can immerse yourself into a new world of visual delight with up to six external displays. Accelerate your graphics on multiple 4K displays or on your notebook’s built-in display. Daisy-chain multiple Node Titans together for graphics power only found in expensive dedicated video workstations. With the Node Titan, you’ll quickly see the visual flexibility you’ve been missing.

It Simply Works

All you need to do to seamlessly utilize the power of your choice of today’s most popular AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards, as well as a pro audio card like the Avid HDX, is connect the Node Titan to your existing Thunderbolt (USB-C) equipped computer. Many apps are designed to automatically engage with a GPU to achieve accelerated results without manual configuration. No new machine reconfiguration hassle and downtime...the Node Titan simply works into your workflow with immediate results.

Over 100% Improvement

“It’s a difference-maker in some of the most painful ‘waiting around for my computer’ moments like color grading/correction, scaling, 3D, RAW formats, and video noise reduction. I saw a range of improvement from 20% to over 100% with Thunderbolt-equipped Intel Macs.”

    Good Product, Unfortunate Mishap

I ordered the AKiTiO Node Titan because of its solid, all metal construction; clean looks; and the good reputation I've always believed OWC to have. My 3-star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product. The AKiTiO Node Titan itself is a fantastic eGPU. However, my unit did not come with the advertised Thunderbolt cable in the box, which is the reason for my mediocre star rating. For whatever reason this snuck past quality control. I emailed OWC support and they asked me to send them pictures of the packaging etc. so that they could verify that there indeed was no cable in the box. The process, from contacting support to receiving the cable that should've been in the box from the start, took two weeks. That was the disappointment with this purchase.

I would recommend this product to a friend!

Thank you for your review and feedback! We’re glad to hear that you’re happy with the AKiTiO Node Titan and its performance. However, we sincerely apologize for the issue with the missing Thunderbolt cable and the delays in getting it to you. This certainly isn’t the experience we aim to provide, and we completely understand your frustration. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’ll be looking into how we can improve our quality control process to avoid this kind of issue in the future. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns.  https://eshop.macsales.com/Service/

    Looks great……

Great look, fans noisy, and PCI slot don't have pop-outs for wider GPU, and creates obstruction for ventilation.

    No surprises, plug and play

Completely plug and play. No need to install drivers or worry about having enough power to run a RTX 4060Ti.

I would recommend this product to a friend!
