Can’t complain! My old iMac runs like brand new right now and it is 12 year old by the way. Great purchase and upgrade!!!

Called up OWC and told them I had the original 2010 27" iMac and I need a 500GB SSD, mounting kit, and thermal heat detector and they said Okay. When it arrived all of the above plus some small screwdrivers and suction cups to pull the screen off were all in one neat little box. Then all you need do is surf into https://eshop.macsales.com/installvideos/ and find your particular Mac and watch the apposite video first and maybe concurrently to the upgrade. :-)

The overall drive installation was easy,, although it would be a lot easier with someone next to you to pause the video as you go along—or if OWC put in slides saying "pause here" after each step. The only part that was difficult was the cable link where they show you the back of a motherboard, but don't quite show you enough so you can discern the orientation of the cable connector since you have to connect it without being able to see what's going on behind the board. It took less time than the hour the video said. Now I have a computer with an SSD and the older HD that I can now use as mass storage.
