- Actual display support depends upon host. Please review the display specifications for your specific host system to determine the maximum supported resolution, refresh rate, color depth, and number of external displays over Thunderbolt.
- USB 3 port supports bus-powered drives that require up to 0.9A (900mA) of power and self-powered drives.
- USB 3 port provides 0.9A (900mA) of power. This will charge devices requiring 1.0A at slower rate than factory power adapter. Larger devices like tablets requiring 2.1A will not charge. There is no power supplied to USB 3 (or USB 2) port while host computer is turned off or in “sleep” mode.

- USB 3.0 port supports speeds up to 5Gb/s and provides bus power up to 5V and 0.9A (4.5W). Devices that require more bus power will not function on this port. An auxiliary power adapter may be available for your bus-powered external storage device. Devices can be charged via this port, but may charge at a slower rate. Tablet and iPad charging are not supported.
- USB 2.0 port supports speeds up to 480 Mb/s and provides bus power up to 5V and 0.5A (2.5W). Devices that require more bus power will not function on this port.
- When connected via Ethernet cable, dock will detect and connect to the network automatically. Dock supports Wake-on-LAN (WoL) which allows the network to wake your computer from Sleep or Standby Mode.

This device works well for me. I'm using it for HDMI, USB and Ethernet. If it had a pass-through power port so it could charge the laptop, it would be perfect.

I had not needed any T3 or 4 goodies in some time and had moved without changing my address ; I realized my error after clicking the order placement. I immediately called cust. serv. for correction. This could not be accomplished without re-ordering. They cancelled te order, I adjusted my info, and re-ordered. Bada bing bada boom, 3 days later I had my unit.
