OWC's 20-meter mini-SAS cable can connect two compatible SAS 2.1 devices equipped with an active port, such as the OWC Jupiter mini-SAS enterprise switch. This allows you to put more distance between your hardware than passive cables can achieve. Active cables reduce "crosstalk," which is the unwanted interference between cables. This can extend the maximum distance copper cables can communicate by up to 20 feet!
