As usual, the hardware from OWC/MacSales was the right thing, shipped in a timely manner. The instructions for installation were a little terse for my taste. Fortunately I had done a similar upgrade in the past, so I was able to interpolate them to fit my exact situation - between the printed instructions and the on-line videos, I got it done with much less trouble than the last time I opened an iMac that had adhesive tape that had to be cut and replaced. My ancient and revered 2019 27" iMac is now a snappy usable machine again..

I’ve been in tech support for 20+ years, mostly with PCs. A friend’s iMac 27" (Late 2015) was painfully slow, taking 10+ minutes to boot.
