- For 27-inch iMac (2020) models – iMac20,1 and iMac 20,2 – OWC recommends that all DIMMs be the same capacity, speed, and manufacturer to ensure optimal memory performance.
- Tools are required to install memory in Mac mini (Late 2018). OWC recommends the OWC Memory Installation Toolkit for this install.
- Tools are required to install memory in 21.5-inch iMac 4K (Mid 2017, Early 2019). OWC recommends the General Servicing Kit for 21.5-inch Apple iMac (2012-2019) for this install.
- 21.5-inch iMac (Mid 2017) – iMac18,1 – is compatible with 2666MHz memory, but will operate at 2133MHz speed.
